Ice skating introduction

Ice skating is a new sport and getting more popular in Taiwan. This sport is easy to learn, compared with the inline skating and is suitable for all ages. The beginner can practice some basic action in the cushioned surface and this will help ice skating learning faster and safer. In the ice skating, you can experience the close connection between the body and the feeling.

For all the beginners, the safety issue is the most important concern. Is it safe to skate on ice? In fact, with the protection guards and good training and obey the ice rink regulation, ice skating is quite safe. In the western countries, the research shows that the injury of the ice skating is far less than that of other sports. 2. The impact force of ice skating is less than jogging and this is the reason that this sport is often chosen as a media of rehabili tation.

3. Calories Burned with ice skating is the same as that of jogging.

4. Ice skating can enhance the coordination of the whole human body.

5. The impact force on the joint is only 50% of the jogging.
